Billy Bratcher is de bassist van de Starline Rhythm Boys, een rockabilly band uit Vermont. Doordeweeks werkt hij in een hotel (ooit moest Alice Cooper helpen met diens slang). De tijd die hij over had, gebruikte hij om een solo-CD te maken. Die heet, hoe toepasselijk, In The Lobby. Het is een eerbetoon an de Amerikaanse muziek ui het begin van de vorige eeuw. Hij covert onder andere, op zeer relaxte wijze Jimmie Rodgers (TB Blues). In zijn benadering doet hij denken aan de onder de radar verdwenen Leon Redbone. Ook Billy Bratcher heeft een eigen visie ontwikkeld op die oude muziek en het resultaat is fraai en tijdloos.
