De band Uncle Lucius komt uit Austin, Texas en And You Are Me is hun derde CD en de eerste die hier uitgebracht wordt. Gelukkig maar, want dit is rootsrock van de bovenste plank. Black Crowes met Doors-invloeden. Zoals met alle goede bands uit het zuiden van de VS, stopt Uncle Lucius ook een fikse portie soul in zijn rock. Als extraatje voor de Europese release zijn er drie bonustracks, afkomstig van hun vorige CD Pick Your Head Up.
Austin-based indie rock band UNCLE LUCIUS is set to release its new studio album, And You Are Me, in Europe on Blue Rose Records on April 29, 2013. Recorded in Austin and Nashville, And You Are Me finds Uncle Lucius stretching their musicianship and reeling in eleven songs that punch with a fullness reminiscent of The Doors to early Black Crowes.
