The Ghost Of Paul Revere is een groep uit Portland, Maine die met hun derde plaat Good At Losing Everything een verpletterend goede indruk maken. Folk, bluegrass, rock, indiepop, al die elementen zitten erin, maar het resultaat is nauwelijks met andere bands te vergelijken. Het komt een beetje in de buurt van The Avett Brothers, vooral vanwege de passie en de mix van elektrisch en akoestisch. Dit is Americana, zeker. Het is echter vooral ook muziek die risico’s durft te nemen en die constant verrast. Good At Losing Everything is een geweldige titel voor een plaat, maar de muziek is nog veel beter.
