Deathless is het debuut van de Dimpker Brothers, de broers Martin en Adam. Het Zweedse duo trekt al vele jarenlang de wereld over, wat onder andere een vriendschap opleverde met de Texaanse legende Jimmie Dale Gilmore. Ze klinken op Deathless zeer volwassen; fijne nummers en teksten die echt ergens over gaan. De muziek bevat traditionele country-invloeden, maar haalt zijn inspiratie toch meer uit de Californische country-rock van Grateful Dead, Eagles en Tom Petty, terwijl ze zo nu en dan in hun fraaie samenzang doen denken aan Simon & Garfunkel. Het maakt van Deathless alles bij elkaar een meer dan veelbelovend debuut.
Deathless is the debut album by the Dimpker Brothers, brothers Martin and Adam. The Swedish duo has been traveling the world for many years, which resulted in a friendship with the Texan legend Jimmie Dale Gilmore. They sound very mature on Deathless; great songs and lyrics that are really about something. The music contains traditional country influences, but takes its inspiration more from the Californian country rock of the Grateful Dead, Eagles and Tom Petty, while their beautiful harmony vocals are now and then reminiscent of Simon & Garfunkel. All in all it makes Deathless a more than promising debut.
