De Noorse Signe Marie Rustad ontkomt niet aan vergelijkingen met Joni Mitchell. Haar stem betovert de luisteraar op diezelfde dromerige en hypnotiserende wijze. Haar liedjes zijn van een ongekend hoog niveau en ze durft het aan risico’s te nemen. Soms duikt ze de jazz-kant op, dan is het weer pop of rock. Particles Of Faith houdt het midden tussen een album en een EP. Zeven eigen nummers die de perfectie benaderen. Je zou bijna denken dat er ook een Californië in Noorwegen ligt. Ronduit geweldig.
