A Taste Of The Wild is het tweede album van de fenomenale Nederlandse zangeres en liedjesschrijver NinaLynn en dat is minstens zo goed als haar debuut Hummingbird. Folk, pop, Americana, jazz en zelfs cajun. Net als Joni Mitchell weet ze al die stijlen om te toveren tot iets geheel eigens. De band, aangevoerd door Janos Koolen en bijgestaan door onder andere Fay Lovsky, speelt op ingetogen wijze de sterren van de hemel. Maar waar het om draait zijn de nummers en de volwassen teksten. En dat is dertien keer helemaal raak. Prachtig!

With A Taste Of The Wild, the NinaLynn band shows a remarkable versatility in their music abilities and substantial growth from their debut record Hummingbird. A Taste Of The Wild is an Americana album by name, but it really tests the boundaries of what the genre entails. The album consists of 13 original tracks, written by Nina and some co-written with band members Janos Koolen, Lucas Beukers and Arthur Bont, and Dutch singer-songwriter Gé Reinders. Guest appearances by Fay Lovsky and Onno Kuipers (Louisiana Radio) are the cherries on top of this beautiful album
