RB Morris is an Americana singer-songwriter from Knoxville, Tennessee with a new cd called Spies Lies and Burning Eyes. If RB Morris sounds familiar, it may be because he has toured all over the US with John Prine who recently recorded RB’s song That’s How Every Empire Falls on the vinyl version of his grammy-winning cd Fair & Square, and also on a four song ep Prine released under the same name. RB released his own debut album Take That Ride on Prine’s Oh Boy! Records, and his follow-up Zeke and the Wheel (Koch Records) was nominated for Americana CD of the Year by the American Association of Independent Merchandisers. He has also toured with Lucinda Williams and Steve Earle, and been on various Americana compilation albums.
